In addition to the standard room amenities, Golf Course View Rooms are larger at 450 square feet and offer fairway, garden, or ocean views. Golf Course Terrace View Rooms are 400 square feet with 400-square-foot balconies offering the same views. Pool View Guest Rooms are 450 square feet with private pool view balconies. Torreyana Grille & Lounge is the signature restaurant at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu relies on fresh, regional ingredients including seasonal seafood selections. Torreyana has a beautiful dining room, an outdoor dining space with fire pits, and a private dining room that seats twelve. Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is next door to Torrey Pines Golf Course at the northern end of La Jolla on North Torrey Pines Road. When you aren’t golfing on the stunning Torrey Pines Golf Course, there are several other local attractions in both La Jolla and Del Mar to keep you busy.
Nature lovers can enjoy hiking a number of hiking trails that criss-cross the oceanfront bluffs of Torrey Pines State Reserve. Popular Torrey Pines State Beach is at the foot of the reserve. You can walk the length of the reserve from the north parking lot all the way to Black’s Beach, San Diego’s only nude beach, at the extreme southern end. The walk offers spectacular cross-sectional views of the towering bluffs.
Horse racing fanatics will find their thrills at the Del Mar Racetrack, a mere five miles north on Pacific Coast Highway. Opening Day is in mid-July, and the racing season runs through the beginning of September. The track recently added a post-summer 15-day elite Thoroughbred racing season in November called The Bing Crosby Season honoring its founder and glamorous Hollywood roots.

Note: It you’re the outdoorsy type, you can bike to the reserve and other neighborhood attractions from the hotel, but if you aren’t an avid cyclist plan to explore by car. There are abundant walking/hiking opportunities at the reserve and along the beach, but much of the neighborhood is less walkable.
